What changed in Free and Pro with 3.0?

Everyday Git moved to Free: cloning, status, staging, commits, conflict resolution, pull, push, sync and diffs. Pro keeps advanced Git, pull and merge requests, Agent Mode and cloud AI, the SSH terminal and the other Pro tools. Deskless 3.0 is available for iPhone and iPad now; on Android these changes arrive when 3.0 completes Google Play review. An update does not change your plan or price.

Can I use AI for free?

On-device quick actions do not require Pro or a provider key. They need supported, enabled Apple Intelligence on iPhone or iPad, or Gemini Nano with AICore on an eligible Android device, and a ready model. The free Offline Agent proposes small reviewed edits: Beta on iOS, and Experimental on Android in 3.0, where it often misses requirements. Cloud Agent Mode and cloud AI require Deskless Pro and your provider API key, with provider charges separate.

Can I try Deskless before paying?

Yes. Deskless is free to download, and the editor, local project tools and everyday Git can be used at no cost. Any trial or introductory offer you are eligible for is shown in the app before you subscribe.

Which cloud providers can I connect?

Use an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI or OpenRouter, which routes your request to the selected model’s hosting provider. Grok can also use Sign in with Grok with an eligible account; plans and models are controlled by xAI. Provider access, credits and usage charges are separate from Deskless Pro.

Are prices the same everywhere?

The amounts shown here are unchanged U.S. reference prices. Your device’s app store shows the final local price, tax treatment, available plans, and any eligible trial before purchase.

Can I work offline?

Yes. Read and edit local projects, commit with Git, and run supported JavaScript, TypeScript, Python and SQL projects without a connection. Device models may need an initial download. Cloning, pulling, pushing, pull and merge requests, SSH connections, package installs and cloud AI need access to their servers.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Manage Deskless from the subscriptions area of the store account used for purchase—Apple subscriptions on your Apple device, or Google Play subscriptions on Android. Store terms apply.
