Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Deskless ("the App"), provided by Lowcountry Code Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or professional software development purposes.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Redistribute or resell the App

2. Your Content

The App allows you to create, edit, and manage source code and other files ("Your Content"). You retain all rights to Your Content. We don't claim any ownership over Your Content.

Your Content is stored locally on your device. We don't have access to Your Content and are not responsible for its backup or recovery.

3. Third-Party Services

Git Providers

The App allows you to connect to third-party Git hosting services (GitHub, GitLab, etc.). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service.

AI Providers

If you use AI features with your own API keys, your use of those AI services is governed by the respective provider's terms. We're not responsible for the behavior or availability of third-party AI services.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store settings
  • Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies

5. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

You're responsible for:

  • Maintaining backups of Your Content
  • The security of your Git credentials and API keys
  • Compliance with any licenses that apply to code you work with

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

7. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
