3.0 connects the agent, your project’s checks and your Git host, so a change can go from a request to a reviewed merge without leaving the device.

Agent Mode 2.0

Give the agent a goal. It explores your project, edits a private draft, runs your project’s checks on the device, and presents a patch for you to review before anything changes. Works with Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Grok or OpenRouter using your own key.

Tasks that survive interruptions

Agent tasks save checkpoints you can review or resume, and can work on their own Git branch. Cloud work can continue after you switch apps where the system allows it; checks that run code on your device wait until you return.

Everyday Git is free

Clone over HTTPS or SSH, see status, stage, commit, resolve conflicts, pull, push, sync and view diffs without Pro. Pro adds branches, rebase, tags, history, blame, stashes, pull requests and AI commit messages and diff reviews.

Pull and merge requests, end to end

See CI checks and logs, check out a branch to run it locally, review with inline comments and suggested changes, approve, and merge exactly the commits you reviewed. Works with GitHub, Forgejo/Gitea and, new in 3.0, GitLab.

From a failing check or an issue

Fix with Agent starts from a failing CI check, with its log, and Start Work turns an issue into a branch you can hand to the agent.

Navigate code from the editor

Go to Definition, Find References, Rename, Show Documentation and Quick Fix from the keyboard, the context menu or a modifier-click, for supported JavaScript, TypeScript and Python projects.

Dependencies, SQLite and async debugging

Install pure npm packages and Python wheels for offline use, run SQL scripts with SQLite, and step through async JavaScript and TypeScript with breakpoints and locals.

Sign in with Grok

Grok can use an xAI API key or, with an eligible Grok account, Sign in with Grok. Plans and models are controlled by xAI.

Code folding and multiple cursors arrive on Android, with gutter markers, Select Next/All Occurrences, Add Cursor Above/Below and Alt-click.
A cancellable notification keeps a cloud agent task running while you use other apps. Running code waits until you return.
Ctrl-click, F12, Shift F12 and F2 reach Go to Definition, Find References and Rename.
A desktop-ready experience for Android desktop windows, with right-click menus and mouse drag-selection.
The offline Gemini Nano agent is labelled Experimental. It often misses requirements and has not yet reached the quality of Deskless’s other agents, so every proposal is checked and reviewed before it is applied.

Run and test projects on your device

Project Tools brings bundled JavaScript, TypeScript and Python runtimes, console output, tests, web previews and debugging into your workspace. Runs capture your current project, including unsaved changes.

57 syntax languages, plus plain text

Choose a language for a file, add custom file associations, and use improved automatic detection. EditorConfig, indentation controls and language-aware comments help match the project you’re editing.

Code intelligence where it helps

Get inline completions, diagnostics and a Problems list for supported languages. Project Tools adds navigation, references and symbols, plus reviewed renames, formatting and code fixes where supported. Capabilities vary by language.

Find the file. Keep the draft.

Quick Open and the Command Palette make files and actions easier to reach. Project search supports case, whole-word and regex matching, includes unsaved drafts, and keeps replacements unsaved until you choose Save.

More of your Git workflow

Explore blame, file history and commit diffs. Create and push tags, rebase with continue and abort, and browse or create pull requests on GitHub and Forgejo/Gitea using your saved host credential.

An interactive SSH terminal

Connect to saved hosts, reuse Git credentials and verify host fingerprints. Generate Ed25519, RSA or ECDSA keys in the app; changed host keys are refused until you resolve the trust mismatch.

Streaming AI and OpenRouter

Read cloud replies as they arrive and follow agent progress. OpenRouter joins OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini and xAI Grok. Review changes by file or hunk before applying them.

Offline Agent, in Beta

Ask the device model for a small project fix, check its proposal with bundled local tools, and review the edits before applying them. Requires supported, ready Apple Intelligence or Gemini Nano; models can miss requirements and availability is not universal.

Fixes for the work between features.

Draft recovery and external file-change handling better protect work across interruptions and changing windows.
Project replace rejects changed files, discarded drafts and outdated searches before applying a group of replacements.
Completions replace the full intended range and reject responses for an older document or caret position.
Streaming replies handle incomplete network data correctly, and cancelling an AI request releases blocked network work.
Git operations, paginated pull requests and saved-credential refresh behave more consistently as panels and repositories change.
SSH cleanup and final terminal output are more reliable. iOS also improves terminal selection and keyboard controls, Windows line endings, undo/redo caret placement, focus after Find, and keyboard spacing.
